Wushu on America's Got Talent

Postby jiayo » Tue May 25, 2010 8:09 pm

That is absolutely WUSHU in the teasers for America's Got Talent. The twist looks like He Jing De to me, but who else is in there?

Hey guys this is Philip Sahagun, that is indeed Jingde and myself in the clip. We are performing under the team name "Kungfu Heroes" currently based out of South Coast Martial Arts in Southern California. I cannot say much about our participation other than we will be representing hard for everyone and checkout the show June 1st on NBC!

On a seperate note... I guess I'll take a little time to do a shameless plug about what we got going on. :) :D
Our group Kungfu Heroes is about promoting inspiration and unity via the Martial arts. We didn't choose the name Kungfu Heroes because we view ourselves as great pillars of inspiration, but because we feel there's a need to show that beyond Martial Arts skill and despite one's adversity, religion, race, cultural or national boundaries, we all hold the power within ourselves to ignite positivity and become someone's inspiration, someone's idol and someone's hero…

I trully hope that through mainstream shows such as AGT we can help share the Martial Arts in a positive light. We are not tough MMA Fighters, nor are we Big Grand Masters... we are simply people who want to help others find strength within themselves while showcasing what we do!

ANYWAYS  Sorry if I got carried away. LOL

Kungfu Heroes is a brand new group currently expanding their network for future projects! We want to unite like minded individuals seeking to become “Heroes” and positive role models in their local and worldwide communities! I encourage everyone on Jiayou to show your support and check us out!

wow after seeing some1 posting the wushu people on somewhere in south americas got talent kind of show I always wondered if someone could enter in ours and be successful. The only problem I could think of is "upping the performance" each show since it feels like everyone would be wow'd by nandu and theres only so many variations of it. Sorry that sounded negative, maybe just my thought process of why we have not seen any wushu in 5 seasons? :D Anyways I hope you guys find a solution to that. Great to see wushu on national television! Thanks for showing it off more! best of luck, i'll be watching.

Kung Fu Heroes have a counterpart in Britain's Got Talent. But by the looks of it, Kung Fu Heroes would take them down easily.

Congratulations Kung Fu Heroes for making it to the live shows. But honestly, the cheerleaders get the automatic pass to the live show and Kung Fu Heroes get put in standby. Didn't Sharon say they were the best martial arts team the judges had seen? Yet they put them on standby, What's up with that, man?
