Forms for Amateur Wushu Competition

The following are examples of forms that include choreography that is appropriate for beginner and intermediate divisions in amateur wushu competitions. Different tournaments may have different requirements and may define “beginner” and “intermediate” differently.

For example, the Collegiate Wushu Tournament defines beginner as less than one year of experience and intermediate as more than one and less than three years of experience.  UC Berkeley’s CMAT defines beginner as less than two years of experience and intermediate as less than four years of experience.

It’s also important to check the time requirements and any other regulations regarding content. These forms are only being presented as examples and not as compulsory.
